It’s not the first time a food blogger has brought French cuisine to the forefront with her French lifestyle blog.
But the latest entry is even more striking.
The French lifestyle blogger and foodie, Sophie de la Croix, has been making delicious, smoothie-like recipes for the last six months.
The ingredients are simple: a mixture of ingredients like berries, chamomile, mint and honey, along with a few drops of lemon juice.
There are recipes that include cucumber, carrots, avocado and even pumpkin, which are all included in the book.
All of the recipes are available in French, so it’s a great way to introduce the French to the United States.
“I’m inspired by the culture, the people and the food.
And I want to bring these things to people in the United Kingdom and America,” de la Coix told The Verge.
So why does she need to sell her recipes in English?
“I’ve had people asking me why I want people to speak English,” de La Croix said.
“English is a language we are very familiar with, so I think that people would really appreciate it if they could see these recipes in the language they use.”
De la Coiches recipes have gone viral, and her YouTube channel has more than 3.6 million subscribers.
“The more I think about it, it’s not really about the product,” she said.
She is aiming to bring her French recipes to as many people as possible.
“If you think about, there are millions of people in France who are eating French cuisine,” de Coix said, “so there is a huge potential for French cuisine.”
She said that she is open to speaking to people from the United states, too.
“You don’t need to be an English speaker to appreciate French cuisine.
I can understand English, but I can also cook and cook with a French accent,” de lcraix said with a laugh.
